Corfield (K.G.) Periflex 1
The Corfield Periflex (1) is a British-made 35mm focal-plane shutter camera introduced in 1953 by K.G. Corfield Ltd of Wolverhampton. It uses Leica-compatible 39mm screw-mount lenses and is distinguished by a periscope focusing device that drops behind the lens for through-the-lens focusing, rather than a conventional rangefinder. When new, it was positioned as an affordable British alternative to the Leica.
