Ernemann Film K (4.5x6)

The Ernemann Film K (4.5x6) is an early 20th-century German plate and roll-film camera made by Ernemann of Dresden, configured for the 4.5x6 cm small-format negative. It was sold as a compact folding camera in Ernemann's pre-Zeiss Ikon line-up, before Ernemann was absorbed into Zeiss Ikon in 1926.

Auction evidence for the Film K (4.5x6) is very thin: the only verified UK saleroom hammer result on file is £146 from 2003, which is wholesale rather than a retail asking price. With just one data point and no recent sales, today's value is best treated as indicative only, and condition, completeness of the original lens and shutter, and bellows integrity will drive what a clean example sells for.
